Frequently Asked Questions:

From 2018 we are offering a wider selection of products, many that we do not sell elsewhere. This further helps our ethos of selling interesting and innovative products that we like, at competitive prices. By selling to you direct, we are able to sell at lower prices.

  • Postage and packing

Although we do charge for postage, unlike many companies we are not trying to make a profit on this. Postage starts as little as £1 in the UK and by buying a number of items you will have the benefit of combining these into one smaller postal charge.
    •  'Can I have Tracked Postage?'

    Orders within the UK can be sent signed-for for an additional £1. 

    Orders sent overseas can be sent tracked for an additional £5.

    Most countries outside of Europe and the USA, we will only send orders by tracked post. This is as a result of years of experience attempting to get items to customers where the local postal service lets them down.

     

    •  'What's the Despatch time?'                                                                                                                    

    All purchases are required to be paid for prior to despatch.
    Orders will normally be shipped within 24 hours on business days, excluding Bank holidays.

     

    • VAT

    Magnametals is not VAT registered and will never be. No VAT is charged on any order. Invoices can be specifically created showing that VAT charged is 0.00 £/EUR/$ if requested.

     

    • 'How do I cancel my order?' 
    If you “contact us” quickly enough after placing the order, we can simply cancel it.

       

      • Larger orders

      If you have a large order please “contact us” your requirements so we can put together a best price with a low distribution charge for tracked delivery.
